Ujjwal Paul, of Grade 8, participated in Thonnur Swimmathon on 30th Jun, held at Thonnur lake, near Mysore.
Since last 4 years, Thonnur Swimmathon has emerged as one of the biggest swimming marathon event in India. This year, about 400 swimmers participated in this event in various categories, within which approx.. 200 participated in 1 km .
Ujjwal came 3rd, in 1 km ‘under 25 yrs’ age category, thus winning a Bronze medal and a certificate.
