Timpany School, Visakhapatnam, is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Timpany School is a Christian mission school managed by the Evangelical Trust Association of South India (ETASI). Started in 1931 at Asilmetta, the school today boasts 3000 students from Nursery to class XII.
The school has two other branches – Timpany Steel City School at Gajuwaka and Timpany Secondary School at CBM Compound, both affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
The one-acre school campus houses an air-conditioned library, well-equipped labs for home science, physics, biology, chemistry and computer science, an audio-visual lab, seminar hall, craft room, open stage, chapel, music room and counters with purified drinking water.
The school playground hosts facilities for table tennis, handball, net ball, throwball and volleyball. The school has cricket nets, tennis and badminton courts, equipment for javelin, shot put, discus and for indoor games such as carrom and chess.
Following the CISCE curriculum, the school offers schooling from Nursery to class XII. The education imparted by the school is based on holistic development of body and mind grounded on spiritual and moral values. The school believes that education is a door that opens to the child a whole new world and imparts learning with great zeal and diligence, which is apparent by the success achieved by its students after they pass out of the school.
Extracurriculars: Students learn to perform on stage, competing in dramatics, elocution, debate, quiz, dance and music. They also participate in environment-related activities and social service initiatives. Training is provided for throwball, volleyball, cricket, tennis, badminton, table tennis, handball, net ball, javelin, shot put, discus, table tennis, carrom and chess.

SportsNursery and LKG admissions commence in November. For classes I to XII, admissions commence in February.
The age eligibility for nursery is three plus years and five plus years for class I. For class XI, students should have scored over 80 percent in class X ICSE or CBSE board exams. Students from SSC/State Board are also admitted at the discretion of the authorities.
