Trinity College Dublin announces scholarships for eligible Indian students

Dublin, Ireland based Trinity College has recently announced scholarships for eligible Indian students for the first year of their undergraduate programme at the university.

Key features of the scholarship are:

Full-time undergraduate programmes (except Medicine, Dentistry and Acting) https://www.tcd.ie/courses/undergraduate/az/

Trinity Specialist Business undergraduate programme (Bachelor in Business Studies)https://www.tcd.ie/business/undergraduate/bbs/

Award: Several scholarships valued at €5000 each, applied as a reduction to the tuition fees of a full-time undergraduate programme for the first year of study only.

Eligibility & Application: Applicants who are normally resident in and have completed their high school education in India.  Applicants who have non-EU status and will pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate.  Applicants must have achieved a minimum:

International Baccalaureate score of 30

A level score of BBB
India Grade XII score of 80 percent overall

200 word statement on “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community” – submitted in MS Word or pdf format

CV/Resume

Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be assessed based on academic achievement, and evaluation of the applicants’ potential to contribute to the overall TCD community.

Last Date: Submit scholarship request and attach scholarship application documents no later than March 31, 2016

Application process: Submit scholarship request as follows

a. Email to: indian.scholarships@tcd.ie

b. Subject line:  Indian Scholarship Application: [your name], [your applicant number]

c. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship request

d. No further communication until scholarship awards are made; awards will be made and successful candidates informed no later than April 1, 2016

e. Decision to accept scholarship is required on Monday April 18, 2016 along with acceptance of your offer to attend TCD and payment of your deposit.

f. You will be responsible for formally accepting the scholarship offer by email reply to indian.scholarships@tcd.ie

g. Acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship acceptance will come within 72 hours

h. A non-response will be considered as declining the offer
