Additionally, Trump’s stance on school curriculum is clear: he wants to ensure it reflects “patriotic” values. He plans to reinstate the 1776 Commission, which promotes a more conservative view of American history, and establish a credentialing body to certify teachers who align with his vision. While many of Trump’s education goals require legislative action or lengthy federal processes, he is expected to move quickly to undo many of President Biden’s education policies, especially those related to racial equity and Title IX protections.
Trump’s focus on education will continue to be a cornerstone of his presidency, with sweeping promises that will impact students, parents, and educators nationwide. His vision is one of removing political influence from schools—except where it aligns with his own conservative values.
