UP board declares class 10, 12 results

UP board class 10 results
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyam Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) declared the Class 10 and 12 board exam results today. 
 
Nearly 56 lakh students appeared for both the exams held between February 18 and March 13. The students can check the results on the official websites of the board: upresults.nic.inupmsp.edu.in, and upmspresults.up.nic.in
 
While declaring the results, the state deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma said that the performance is better than compared to last year. He also appreciated the efforts of the departments in conducting the exams in the span of 15 days. 
 
The board recorded 83.31 passing percentage in class 10 exams and 74.64 in class 12. Riya Jain scored the highest mark in class 10 boards with 96.67 percent and Anurag Malik scored the highest in class 12 boards with 97 percent marks. Each topper will be awarded a prize money of Rs 1 lakh and laptop, said the deputy chief minister Sharma.
