UPES, a multidisciplinary university in Dehradun, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to provide students with enhanced educational and career opportunities in the finance field. ACCA, a globally recognized body, extends accreditation and support to professional accountants worldwide across over 180 countries.
As part of this partnership, UPES will introduce the BBA Core (Finance) program in collaboration with ACCA, leading to ACCA Global Certification recognized in more than 180 countries. Upon gaining three years of work experience, candidates will qualify for the esteemed title of ‘ACCA Member’, opening doors to employment opportunities with leading consulting firms like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC.
Furthermore, the collaboration will grant students access to ACCA’s professional development and learning resources. Both institutions will jointly undertake learning and development initiatives, including competency mapping and skills training.
Rahul Nainwal, Director of UPES School of Business, emphasized the significance of this collaboration in providing students with globally recognized frameworks and resources essential for their academic and research pursuits. Sajid Khan, Director- India, ACCA, expressed delight in partnering with UPES, highlighting the commitment to enhancing graduates’ work readiness by integrating ACCA into the BBA program.

It underscores UPES’ dedication to providing excellence in education and student welfare, paving the way for future leaders in the finance sector.
