The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a detailed application form for Combined Medical Services (CMS) exam, 2019. Candidates who have successfully qualified in UPSC CMS online examination 2019 can apply on or before 9th September on their official website: upsconline.nic.in.
Candidates are required to fill up necessary details along with required documents including a scanned copy of the certificate of age, educational qualifications, scanned copy of the certificates in support of the claim of age relaxation, and scanned copy of the undertaking duly signed by the candidate, if he is already in Government Service. All these have to be submitted online.
A total of 965 vacancies will be filled up through this exam procedure. Selected candidates will be given one of the posts of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council and General Duty Medical Officer Grade 2 in East, North and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The exam pattern comprises of two papers that will be conducted through computer-based exams. Each paper will be carrying a maximum of 250 marks and will have two hours duration. Both papers will have objective or multiple choice answers. Qualified candidates will further go through an interview/ personality test round.
