Question papers for the Uttar Pradesh class 12 board exam in mathematics and biology were reportedly circulated on a WhatsApp group just an hour after the exams commenced on Thursday. Following this, authorities filed a police complaint, and an FIR has been registered in Fatehpur Sikri based on the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) in Agra, Dinesh Kumar’s complaint.
The complaint names the principal of Atar Singh Inter College in Kiraoli, Fathepur Sikri, along with his son (a computer operator at the institute) and others. According to the FIR, it is alleged that the principal’s son posted the question papers on the “All Principals Agra” WhatsApp group.
Dr. Mukesh Agrawal, Joint Director of the Secondary Education Department and Observer for the exams, stated, “Following the incident, we’ve established a committee and directed the relevant officials to take necessary actions. Legal consequences will be pursued against those responsible.”
The unauthorized sharing of question papers occurred during the second shift of the exam, one hour after it had begun.
