The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women – a unique alternative to the traditional MBA programme which aims create a cadre of successful women professionals for the 21st century – invites applications for its fourth batch commencing in August 2019. Seats are filled on a first come first serve basis.

The unique programme has received a promising  response from recruiters for its third batch of scholars. KPMG, Nestlé, SoulTree, Google, Deloitte, Core Diagnostics, EY, FSSAI, Tata Trusts and Max Group are among the companies that have returned to recruit graduating scholars of the programme.

Vedica offers an 18-month professional certificate in management practice and leadership. The curriculum has been crafted to meet the expectations of today’s employers. With management practice at its core, the curriculum is integrated with modules in liberal arts, communication skills, personal growth and leadership.

Each cohort at Vedica is a healthy mix of fresh graduates and young working women. Achievement-oriented women with an undergraduate degree and desire to excel professionally can apply.

“We are now in our fourth year and it is tremendous that we have seen so much interest in the programme from young people around the country. Our track record of helping women in this country to sustain a long, successful and meaningful career is very poor. We are trying to correct that; this environment provides a safe space for women to feel confident about having a successful career in the corporate world,” says Pramath Raj Sinha, co-founder, Vedica Scholars Programme for Women.

With the increasing batch size, our community of recruiters has also grown exponentially. Nearbuy, AVANA Capital, Moglix, OYO Rooms, Ad Astra Consultants, WittyFeed, Kiva Life, Kamalan and Flexing It are some of the new recruiters that came to campus this year. Vedica Scholars were placed in a wide range of sectors including Consulting, Manufacturing, Policy, FMCG, Education and Healthcare across functions such as Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing and Strategy. Some of the commonly offered roles include Capability Building Managers (Founder’s Team), Business Analysts, Consultants, Research Analysts, Associate Manager – Strategic Projects. Average annual package was over INR 9 lakh with the highest package exceeding INR 20 lakh.
