Admission notices for various courses are advertised in leading dailies. Application and prospectus can be purchased online or in person. For professional courses, candidates need to write Vels Entrance Exam. A rank list is prepared after checking eligibility. For Maritime Studies, candidate needs to go through Medical Examinations. Selection is based on merit in the entrance examination and previous academic record followed by interview.
