Krish Mittal of class 12, from Venkateshwar Global School, Rohini has set a world record as the youngest person to write an educational book. At the age of 15, Krish is the youngest to write an educational book by the name of ‘Lets Learn C’ and has set a new world record for the International Book of Records. Krish’s book is brilliantly authored which makes learning C, a computer programming language, a child’s play.

According to Krish the motivation behind authoring the book was to make programming language C easy for learners across all age groups. Krish said he often met people who complained about the difficulty faced by them due to the complex language used in reference materials. After interacting with numerous peers, he was able to understand the problem and decided to write ‘Let’s Learn C: Never Too Young Never Too Old to Code’.

The book uses simple language to explain complex concepts of coding in C language. Krish has used an application-based approach to excite people and help them understand the nitty-gritty of the programming language. Krish excitedly shared, “One of the readers of my book has developed a game using the coding strategies he learnt from my book.” After reading his book many of the readers have taken interest in different fields of computer science, like quantum computing; as application-based learning has been instrumental in sparking their creativity.

Kavita Soni, principal, Venkateshwar Global School, Rohini appreciated Krish’s initiative and congratulated him and his parents. She said, “Krish has set an example for others to follow, such an achievement at a young age truly unfolds his creativity and dynamic mind. I wish him the best for his future endeavours.”
