Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Polytechnic (VESP) has announced the successful launch of an innovative, fully automated recruitment consulting platform developed by its second-year Diploma Engineering students. The project, comprising approximately 300 lines of code, aims to streamline the hiring process for fresh graduates and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Designed under an industry-guided project and built on a secure dual-server architecture, the platform automates job applications for candidates and delivers curated, pre-screened profiles to startups and small businesses. This eliminates the need for manual job searches and simplifies talent acquisition—creating a seamless experience for both job seekers and employers.
The development team—Mahira Vasa, Swanandi Thakur, Gaurav Gaikwad, and Nishit Thakur—was mentored by VESP alumnus Dinesh Sehgal. Their work highlights the potential of technology to drive social change and foster inclusive employment opportunities.
“Our students have not only showcased their technical skills but also their empathy and commitment to making a difference,” said Vikrant Joshi, Principal of VESP. “We are proud to support such purposeful innovation and will continue to nurture changemakers of the future.”
Registrations are now open. Freshers and PwBD candidates can create profiles and explore relevant job opportunities, while startups and small companies can post vacancies and connect with candidates—entirely free of cost.
This initiative reaffirms VESP’s dedication to innovation, inclusion, and community impact, and exemplifies how student-led projects can deliver real-world solutions in today’s evolving employment landscape.
