Vista International School student surpasses all expectations

Alaknanda

As she went around the school premises, fulfilling her responsibilities as the Games Captain of the school, or sat in her class, listening to her teachers with rapt attention, there was no doubt that this girl was special. Her demeanour, her perseverance, her diligence and her omnipresent smile – endeared her to her friends and teachers alike.

Alakananda is a force to be reckoned with. A bright student, a loyal friend and an exemplary athlete – her inimitable spirit and thirst to reach her potential makes her stand out in a crowd. She started her journey at Vista International School when she was in grade 7. Taking no time to adjust to a new school, this wondrous girl soon became a favourite among peers and teachers. Her talent and diligence were evident from get go, and hence it was no surprise to anyone when she emerged as the topper of the school for the Grade 10 board exams.

She kept her streak of excellence alive as she started rigorously practising for her upcoming grade 12 board exams and the competitive exams that she was planning to write. Her efforts bore fruit as she secured the All India Rank of 1743 and State Rank of 90 in the NEET exam. Her recipe for success? Perseverance, diligence and strict adherence to the NCERT textbooks.

She acknowledges the role of her parents as her pillars of strength who constantly supported her – through easy as well as the trying times. Speaking about her alma mater, Vista International School, she says that it was at Vista that she learned how to use the textbooks and study materials to its full potential. The faculty at her college was also a huge source of inspiration and guidance for her, especially during the trying times of the global pandemic.

On a recent visit to her alma mater, where she shared the joy of her success with the teachers under whose care the seeds of her future were planted, she also took an enlightening session with the current grade 12 batch, sharing her own customised tips to enable them to give in their best and achieve what they are destined for.

She is now all set to pursue her MBBS in AIIMS Mangalgiri, aiming to become an Oncologist in the future and there is no shadow of a doubt that she will surpass our expectations.
