SP Mandali’s Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, is all set to be the nodal centre in Mumbai for the Smart India Hackathon 2018, Software Edition scheduled on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the institute campus. Each student group will apply their technical knowledge to solve a problem statement and develop software solutions for improving governance and quality of life. The problem statements would be given by Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
The hackathon will see promising and young innovators proposing actionable software solutions and adding a fresh perspective to a host of initiatives benefitting the public, startups, among others. The initiative aims to provide a chance to youngistans to provide innovative solutions that will pave way for progress in India.
A total of 48 student groups will compete in the nationwide Smart India Hackathon.
