Mumbai headquartered YES BANK, India’s fourth largest private sector bank, recently held a felicitation ceremony for 30 meritorious students from select 22 premier business schools and engineering colleges across India, as part of its annual scholarship programme, YES FUTURE READY. The initiative aimed at empowering future business leaders, seeks to identify exemplary scholars and nurture Design-Thinking, Innovation, Creativity-led entrepreneurship mindsets in addition to enabling deserving students with a scholarship amount of INR 2,00,000.
Apart from the scholarship, shortl isted meritorious students will also receive a carefully crafted year-long mentorship by YES BANK’s top management, pre-placement interview offers, access to ‘Future Ready’ courses on Coursera and an opportunity to work on emerging-tech based live projects.The 30 YES FUTURE READY scholars were chosen after a stringent evaluation process which included selection basis not only academic and co-curricular achievements but also personality traits, Cognitive Ability and Situational Judgment followed by an interview with senior leaders of YES BANK.
The fourth edition of the scholarship programme this year saw over 3000 applicants from reputed institutes such as IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Indore & Shillong, XLRI, IIT – Bombay, Delhi and Madras, BITS Pilani, MDI, NITIE among others, of which, 30 meritorious candidates were finally named YES FUTURE READY scholars for 2018.

YES FUTURE READY scholars of 2018 were felicitated at Indian School of Design and Entrepreneurship in Mumbai with the YES FUTURE READY trophy along with INR 2,00,000 each and were witness to a riveting fireside chat between new age start-up entrepreneurs including Priya Sharma, founder, Zest Money, Mayank Kumar, founder & CEO, UpGrad and Vinay Mathews, founder, Faircent. The scholars were also part of exclusive networking dinner with the start-up entrepreneurs, hosted after the felicitation ceremony.
