UK based University of York, in collaboration with the British Council India, has announced two GREAT Britain Scholarships-India 2017 worth £6,500 each. The scholarships are available exclusively to Indian students who are applying for any taught MSc programme at the York Management School for the session commencing in September 2017. The application deadline for the scholarship is June 30, 2017.
The scholarships are applicable for all the taught MSc programmes offered by York Management School including MSc Management, MSc Human Resource Management, MSc Management with Business Finance, MSc Accounting and Financial Management, MSc International Business and Strategic Management and MSc Global Marketing. Indian applicants holding an offer of a place on one of these Masters programmes for entry in September 2017 are eligible to apply for the scholarships, which will be issued as a reduction in tuition fees.
The intent behind GREAT Britain Scholarships is to provide the much needed financial assistance to Indian students with the potential and aspiration to study in the UK. University of York’s partnership with the British Council India for these scholarships gives an excellent opportunity to meritorious Indian students to be a part of an institution which is embedded within social science traditions and whose core identity is rooted in a commitment to social responsibility, sustainability and ethical practice.

How to apply for the scholarship: The students are required to submit a 400-word statement on why they are applying for the programme, what special attributes or experience they will bring to the course, why they deserve financial assistance and how they will contribute to society having completed a York Master’s degree. In addition, they are required to provide a one page summary CV containing theiremail address and application number along with it.
