Speaking on this occasion, Swaroop Banerjee (COO, Zee LIVE) said, “It gives me great joy in announcing the second edition of Zee Educare, our flagship brand on extraordinary careers, it was thrilling to have over 6000 students, some of the best industry stalwarts who interacted with our students in the first edition in New Delhi. I think the questions a student and her parent have in this generation is very different from before; how do I become a mountaineer, a forensic finance specialist, a musician, a climate activist or even a performer? While traditional education has been the grounds on which alternate education took its stand, alternate careers are now deeply rooted in this country. Our job at Zee Educare is to speak to young minds and their parents to bridge this information gap. With a presenting partner like BasicFirst, I think Mr. Priyadarshi and I share the one thing which is for any education – your basic comes first. You will be seeing the Mumbai edition become a much larger community, 100+ school activations, an incredible line up of speakers, media and digital assets reaching out to as many students and parents will make this one hard to miss.
Mr. Randhir Kumar (Founder & CEO, BasicFirst Learning) said, “Academic doubts are the biggest blocker in the learning process of students. BasicFirst’s idea of creating a path-breaking doubt clearing program which uses a personalized approach to deal with student’s doubts is based on the fact that true learning happens with an unlimited window of opportunity for interaction between students, teachers, and parents. We got associated with Zee Educare as we see a well thought out problem-solving approach from them by bringing together young minds and their parents and provide them a platform to express their learning issues and career issues. Our association will help us understand the need gap in the education domain leading further to innovate and better our product offerings”.
