Ryan group partners with UK’s RGS Guildford to launch British curriculum schools in India

The Ryan Group of Institutions, one of India’s largest private school networks, has announced a landmark partnership with the Royal Grammar School (RGS) Guildford, a prestigious 500-year-old institution in the United Kingdom, to establish premium British curriculum schools in India.

The collaboration will debut with the launch of RGSG Bengaluru, a state-of-the-art co-educational campus spread over 14 acres in the city, scheduled to open in September 2028. The new school will offer the British curriculum with a strong emphasis on STEM, sports, arts, drama, and music, while integrating Indian cultural values to create a holistic learning experience.

Founded in 1509, RGS Guildford is renowned for its academic excellence and consistently ranks among the UK’s top schools at both A Level and GCSE, with alumni progressing to leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Russell Group and Ivy League institutions. The Bengaluru venture follows RGS Guildford’s international expansions into the UAE, Qatar, Oman and China.

The partnership promises extensive collaboration opportunities, enabling RGSG Bengaluru students to engage with RGS Guildford’s UK campus and its international schools, providing them with global exposure and intercultural learning experiences.
