TOEFL, part of ETS, has introduced a social media dance challenge aimed at students in India planning to study abroad.
The “TOEFL Dance Stitch Competition”, hosted on the test’s official Instagram account, invites participants to reinterpret a set choreography and share their entries using the hashtags #DanceWithTOEFL and #YouSpeakWorld. The initiative is positioned as a way to make the preparation journey more engaging amid rising academic pressure and digital fatigue among students.
Participants are required to follow TOEFL’s Instagram handle, remix the official video, perform the choreography with their own variation, and post it publicly. The deadline for entries is 15 April 2026, with winners to be announced later in the month.
Five selected participants will receive TOEFL tuition awards of up to USD 5,000, paid directly to their educational institutions.
According to organisers, the competition reflects a broader shift towards integrating creative and social-first approaches into test preparation, as students increasingly seek flexible and less stressful ways to prepare for international education.
