The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has granted recognition to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) as an Awarding Body (AB–Dual) following an agreement signed on 24 April 2026.
The recognition enables the university to assess and certify learners for qualifications it delivers directly at its campuses or fully managed training centres, for approved or adopted programmes.
The signing ceremony was chaired by Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Chairperson, NCVET. It was attended by Ashok Kumar Gaba, Executive Member, NCVET, and Vikram Singh Bhati, Director (Recognition), NCVET.
NCVET has also approved the qualification ‘Financial Data Analytics with AI’ submitted by the university. The council said it continues to support the standardisation and recognition of skills aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is expected to develop additional qualifications mapped to higher NSQF levels as part of its skills programmes aligned with industry requirements.
