The Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) has announced the winners of the International Teaching Professionals’ Open (International TPO) 2025, marking the 10th edition of the global teaching competition.
The 2025 edition attracted more than 200,000 registrations from 40,000 schools across 1,000 locations in 80 countries. Following a two-stage assessment process evaluating teaching competencies, classroom effectiveness and professional expertise, 195 teachers were recognised across multiple categories and regions.
The International TPO is organised by CENTA as part of its efforts to recognise teaching excellence and support professional development. The competition aligns with the organisation’s objective of promoting teaching as a profession through structured recognition and accreditation.
CENTA supports the professional growth of more than two million teachers through its platform, including 1.5 million teachers from India, representing around 15 per cent of the country’s teaching workforce.
The 2025 edition recognised teachers across different age groups, subject areas and regions, including category and regional award winners from India and other participating countries.
