The Heritage School and Heritage Institute of Technology received awards at the ASSOCHAM Education Excellence Awards 2026, held in Kolkata on August 21.

The Heritage School was named ‘Leading K-12 School of the Year’, while Heritage Institute of Technology received the ‘Best Engineering College of the Year’ award.

The awards were presented by Bernard Lynch, Australian consul-general in Kolkata, and received by Souvik Bhattacharyya, principal advisor for education at the Heritage Group of Institutions.

The ASSOCHAM Education Excellence Awards recognise institutions and individuals for their contributions to education, including academic programmes, innovation and student development.
