The Delhi Directorate of Education has directed all government-aided and unaided recognised private schools to remain closed on Friday, September 11, in view of the 18th BRICS Summit.
The summit will be held from September 11 to 13 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
According to a circular issued on September 5, offices under the Directorate of Education will also remain closed on September 11.
Preparations for the summit are underway across the city. The Delhi Traffic Police will use drones to monitor traffic and identify congestion, while route diversions and road closures are expected during the event.
