Mount Carmel School, Dwarka, was established in April 1997, 25 years after the first Mount Carmel School was promoted in Anand Niketan, New Delhi, in 1972. MCS, Dwarka has grown rapidly and now offers education from nursery to class XII and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is a minority educational institution managed by the Mount Carmel School Society, a Protestant church-based organization. It admitted its first batch of 165 students in 1997 and has now grown to 2,600 students and 150 teachers housed in two school buildings.
Mount Carmel School, Dwarka is situated in sector 22 of Dwarka, on a 2-acre site. The junior school is situated amidst greenery. Classes are equipped with LCD screens and computer-aided learning is part of regular teaching. There is a large playground and basketball court.
Mount Carmel School, Dwarka follows the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE board, New Delhi, and offers classes from nursery up to XII. It is an English medium school with Hindi as the second language. Sanskrit, French and Spanish are offered as options for third language.

Students can learn Indian music, Western music and Art & Craft. Science exhibitions offer students opportunities to display exhibits, and conduct experiments.
Value education and life skills are taught on a regular basis. The school organizes ‘Shiksha Kendra,’ which is a literacy program, conducted after school hours in the campus for those who have dropped out of school or never got the opportunity to study.

SportsFor admission to nursery (the equivalent of LKG), a child should have completed 3 years on 30th September, and 4 years for preparatory (the equivalent of UKG) which follows nursery. Forms for nursery admission are available around December and January every year. Admissions to higher classes are subject to vacancies. Admission into the general category is by draw.
