Avinya International School was established in 2024 with the vision of inspiring students to embody values and skills that help them find their purpose and contribute meaningfully to the community.

Founded by Ms. Sindura Musunuru (Founder & Managing Director), Ms. Sreeja Musunuru (Founder & Director), and Ms. Sameera Vallurupalli (Founder & Director), the school focuses on encouraging diversity, celebrating inclusivity, and fostering creativity through innovative and safe learning environments. Students are empowered to stay curious, explore possibilities, and become future-ready.

Avinya International School follows a holistic, purpose-driven approach to education that balances academic rigor with emotional and social growth, rooted in the values of gratitude, respect, and empathy. With a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning, safety, wellbeing, and community partnerships, the school aims to nurture responsible and compassionate global citizens.

Campus

The school currently operates from its inaugural campus spread across 2 acres, catering to students from Nursery to Grade 4.

A larger main campus of 12 acres is scheduled to open shortly and will accommodate students from Nursery to Grade 12.

The inaugural campus hosts 7 classrooms along with dedicated spaces for Dance & Gymnastics, Music & Drama, Art, and a Library & Media Resource Centre.

The campus design supports holistic learning with green courtyards outside classrooms, play areas, an amphitheatre, and sports facilities, ensuring a safe and secure environment with surveillance systems, background checks, and an infirmary.

Academics

Avinya International School is currently an IB candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The school offers classes from Nursery to Grade 4.

Teaching methodologies include inquiry-based and constructivist approaches with a strong focus on skill development, social-emotional learning, design thinking, play-based learning, and personalised learning.

The school maintains a teacher–student ratio of 1:10, with an average student strength of 65 and around 24 teaching staff. Teachers have an average of over 7 years of experience in teaching international curricula. The school also invests significantly in professional development, dedicating 25 days annually to teacher training.

Achievement

Avinya International School has actively engaged students in both sports and community service initiatives. Students participated in the Hyderabad PYP Network Sports Fest in athletics.

In terms of community service, the school undertook a student-driven Diwali diya initiative, through which, with support from the school management, an RO plant was installed at Zila Parishad High School, Poddutur, Hyderabad, ensuring access to safe drinking water for the school community.
