Canadian International School (CIS) will host the 11th edition of its Junior Golf Tournament on January 28, 2026, at Prestige Golfshire, Devanahalli, Bangalore.
Open to student golfers aged 6 to 18, the inter-school tournament will feature participants from schools across India competing in categories aligned with Indian Golf Union (IGU) guidelines. Categories A, B, C and D will follow an 18-hole stroke play format, while Category E will compete in a 9-hole stroke play format.
Over the years, the tournament has developed into a platform for young golfers, combining competitive play with the values associated with the sport, including focus, integrity and strategic thinking.
Commenting on the event, Andrew, Middle School Principal at CIS, said the tournament has consistently brought together students passionate about golf, highlighting the role of the sport in building resilience, self-awareness and ethical decision-making.
Now in its 11th year, the Junior Golf Tournament reflects CIS’s focus on holistic student development through sport, providing young players with opportunities to compete and grow beyond the classroom.
