The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled one examination each for Class 10 and Class 12 that were originally scheduled to be held on March 3, 2026.
The board said the decision was taken due to administrative reasons, while clarifying that all other examinations will continue as per the original datesheet.
As per the revised schedule, the Class 12 Legal Studies examination, earlier slated for March 3, 2026, will now be conducted on April 10, 2026.
For Class 10, several language and elective subject examinations that were scheduled on March 3 have also been postponed. These include Tibetan, German, NCC, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, Mizo, Bahasa Melayu, and Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy.
CBSE has reiterated that apart from these changes, the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations will be held according to the previously announced schedule.
Schools across the country have been instructed to ensure students are kept abreast about these changes to avoid any confusion.
