The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release a revised curriculum for Classes 9 and 10 for the 2026–27 academic session through a webinar scheduled at 3 pm today.
The webinar will be held at the CBSE Headquarters in Dwarka and will also be streamed on the Board’s official YouTube channel for educators and stakeholders.
According to the Board, the revised scheme of studies aligns with the recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-2023). The changes will be introduced for Class 9 from the upcoming academic year and extended accordingly.
CBSE stated that the webinar will outline the structure of the new curriculum and explain the changes included in the document titled Secondary School Curriculum 2026–27 (Part One).
In a circular, the Board has directed affiliated schools to download the full curriculum, including introductory sections, and share it with teachers and students. Schools have also been advised to take steps to implement the revised guidelines in line with the updated framework.
