The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026, with one candidate securing a 100 percentile score in four of the five subjects opted for.
According to the NTA, 22 candidates achieved 100 percentile in three subjects, while 180 candidates secured the same score in two subjects. A further 3,214 candidates scored 100 percentile in one subject.
The agency released a gender-wise list of the top 10 candidates based on aggregate NTA scores across five subjects. Devina Gahlot from Delhi recorded the highest aggregate score of 1,232.19, followed by Saksham Goel from Delhi with 1,230.82 and Udit Chaturvedi from Himachal Pradesh with 1,207.21.
A total of 15,68,867 candidates registered for the examination, of whom 11,64,098 appeared. The examination was conducted in computer-based test mode across 321 cities, including 13 centres outside India.
CUET-UG 2026 was held between May 11 and May 31, and again on June 6 and 7, for admission to undergraduate programmes in the 2026–27 academic session. Candidates could choose up to five subjects from a pool of 37 options, including languages, domain-specific subjects and the General Aptitude Test.
The NTA said the results were prepared using final answer keys reviewed by subject experts. It also noted that results were declared within 16 days of the examination’s completion, 14 days faster than the previous cycle.
Candidates can access their scorecards on the official CUET website using their application number and password.
