East Point College of Physiotherapy graduates 35 students at INIZIO 2026

East Point College of Physiotherapy held its fourth graduation ceremony, INIZIO 2026, at the East Point College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, where 35 Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) students graduated in the presence of faculty, parents and institutional leaders.

The ceremony was attended by chief guest Prof. Dr. U. T. Iftikhar Fareed, Chairman of the Karnataka State Allied & Healthcare Council, Syndicate Member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), and Dean of Dr. M. V. Shetty Group of Colleges. Other dignitaries included S. V. Pramod Gowda and S. V. Rajiv Gowda, CEOs of East Point Group of Institutions, Peter Francis, Secretary of M.G. Charitable Trust, and senior officials of the institution.

Principal Dr. Prasanna Mohan outlined the college’s focus on academic learning, clinical training, research and student development. The ceremony also included the graduation oath and tassel turning ceremony, led by Dr. Prachi Jain.

During the awards segment, Abhinaya V, Nandini Srinivasan and Vinay S received Academic Excellence Awards for securing the first, second and third ranks respectively. Dhanya S Kumar received the Best Outgoing Student Award 2026.

Addressing the graduates, S. V. Pramod Gowda said physiotherapists play an important role in healthcare and encouraged the graduates to uphold professional responsibility and patient care. S. V. Rajiv Gowda urged them to continue learning and contribute to the healthcare profession and society.
