Lakshmipat Singhania Academy and Lakshmipat Singhania Academy International hosted Ekalakshya, a two-day interschool fest, on 4 and 5 July 2025. The event brought together Abhilakshya (creative meet), Bullionaire (commerce meet) and Iris (psychology meet) under the theme “Unleashing Our Future.”

The programme opened with musical and dance performances, followed by remarks from Director Meena Kak on responsible technology use. Chief Guest Dhaval Jain, Municipal Commissioner of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, spoke on patriotism and open-mindedness. Principal Jaya Misra declared the fest open.

Day 1: Abhilakshya
Day one included events such as Visual Saga, Regal Grace, Pen It Down, Canopy, Pot to Belly, CTRL+Scene, Jingles, Narrative Saga, Act Precision, Wrap the Rapper, Fashion Fiesta and Wise Wizard. Students participated in bulletin-board design, jewellery making, article writing, book-cover design, non-gas cooking, short-film production, jingle creation, backdrop presentations, courtroom enactments, rap performances, a cultural fashion show and a social science quiz.

Day 2: Bullionaire and Iris
Day two featured psychology and commerce events for Classes 11 and 12. Iris included Luminary (mock counselling), Psychefeud (quiz-based game show), Brand Aid (branding task), eMOTION (emotion-themed ramp walk) and Projection (PSA filmmaking).
Bullionaire comprised Bullionaire’s Tank (start-up pitching), Venture Vest (stock market simulation), Global Gambit (international trade and diplomacy) and Corporate Courtroom (mock consumer trials).

The fest concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.

Lakshmipat Singhania Academy won Abhilakshya, followed by Lakshmipat Singhania Academy International and Mahadevi Birla World Academy. The school also won Bullionaire, with Sushila Birla Girls’ School as first runner-up and Birla High School as second runner-up. In Iris, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy secured first place, followed by M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School and Mahadevi Birla World Academy.

Ekalakshya concluded with applause as participants and schools were felicitated.
