Lakshmipat Singhania Academy and Lakshmipat Singhania Academy International hosted the 14th edition of Exebit, a three-day interschool technology fest held on 19 July, 7 August and 8 August. The theme, “Towards the Techade”, highlighted the evolving role of technology in the coming decade.
The inauguration featured a teaser, musical performances by students of LSA, and a dance presentation. Chief guest Mr Madan Mohan Chakraborty, CEO and Managing Director (India), Iskraemeco, addressed the gathering on the difference between repetition and originality in art and the growing influence of AI and automation, before declaring the fest open.
Day 1 included Click, a photography event for students and teachers.
Day 2 featured a range of activities, including eco-friendly robot modelling in Artify, AI-assisted illustration in Paint IT All, Scratch-based smart city design in Scratch Your Head and pixel art with binary computation in Excel Pixel. Other events included website creation, cartoon-based storytelling, digital trees made with natural spices, an AI-themed quiz, AI music exploration and a treasure hunt for school representatives.
Day 3 comprised coding, filmmaking, QR design, cyber security and AI ethics activities. It included game design in Python, prompt-based AI challenges, an FC25 gaming tournament, poster creation on ethics, AI-supported diagnosis tasks, cryptography decoding, a second treasure hunt and two rounds of Blender-based 3D design. The day concluded with Vlogumentary, where participants documented the fest.
Exebit concluded with an award ceremony recognising participants’ work across events. The four Presidents of Exebit addressed the audience, acknowledging the efforts of the organising team and encouraging students to continue engaging with emerging technologies.
