E-Cell, IIT Bombay has launched the International Entrepreneurship Olympiad (IEntO) 2026, India’s first offline entrepreneurship Olympiad for students of Classes 6–12. The initiative aims to introduce school students to entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, business awareness, and creative problem-solving through a structured national-level competition.

Designed to encourage students to think beyond conventional academics, the Olympiad focuses on developing an entrepreneurial mindset by exposing participants to business concepts, innovation, analytical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. Unlike traditional Olympiads that primarily assess subject knowledge, IEntO emphasises practical application, creativity, leadership, and decision-making skills.

The competition will be conducted in two stages – a School Round followed by a Final Round, with selected students advancing to compete against top performers from schools across the country. Participants will receive certificates from E-Cell, IIT Bombay, national-level rankings, and an opportunity to win cash prizes and rewards worth over ₹10 lakh. Selected students will also be invited to visit IIT Bombay and attend its flagship E-Summit.

The Olympiad is open to students of Classes 6–12 from schools across India. Schools must register a minimum of 40 students and nominate a teacher coordinator to organise the examination as an official IEntO centre. The competition will be conducted in offline mode, with registrations remaining open until August 25, 2026. E-Cell, IIT Bombay said the initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs by bringing entrepreneurship education into schools at an early stage.
