The Indian School of Business (ISB) has marked its 25th anniversary with the launch of ISB@25, a set of institutional commitments aimed at widening access to management education and strengthening research and teaching capacity in India.
Under the ISB25 Scholars Programme, the school will award 250 scholarships annually across its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and PGP in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL). Tuition-fee waivers of 100%, 50%, 30% and 25% will be offered on a merit-need basis.
ISB will also establish the India Research Commons, a national platform providing scholars across India with access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources and AI-enabled research infrastructure.
The initiative will be accompanied by a national faculty development programme through which ISB will share its pedagogy, classroom practices and technology-enabled teaching methods with management institutions across the country.
“ISB@25 is an opportunity not only to celebrate our journey, but to define our commitment for the future,” said Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB. “Our promise is to make excellence more accessible, knowledge more shareable, and research more usable for institutions and scholars across the country.”
The commitments build on initiatives launched by ISB in recent years. In 2025, the school introduced the PGP YL, admitting an inaugural cohort of 130 students, with more than a third receiving tuition waivers. It also launched ISB Discover, a digital knowledge platform that presents faculty research for policymakers, business leaders and the public.
ISB has also reviewed its flagship PGP curriculum following consultations with alumni, recruiters and industry, with changes focused on greater flexibility, customised learning pathways and alignment with changing workplace requirements.
Founded in 2001, ISB has more than 20,000 alumni across 65 countries. Its PGP is ranked #1 in India and #2 in Asia, while ISB is ranked #1 in India and #12 globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026. The school has campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali and holds AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditation.
Through ISB@25, the school said it aims to use its institutional capabilities to expand access, strengthen research and build management education capacity across India.
