JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) hosted FUTUREFORGE 2026, a technology conclave organised by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN University, at its Global Campus in Bengaluru on 24 March 2026. Held under the theme “Designing Tomorrow’s Machines, Minds and Microchips,” the event convened industry experts, researchers and academicians for discussions with students and faculty on emerging technologies.
The programme featured four panel discussions covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, semiconductor development, electric vehicle batteries and aerospace engineering.
Shri Rabindra Bhandary, Vice President of JGI, said the initiative aims to connect academic learning with industry practice and encourage students to develop solutions for real-world applications.
Speakers examined the convergence of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced electronics and aerospace. Discussions addressed the rise of agentic AI in enterprise decision-making, alongside issues of governance, ethics and reliability. Experts also focused on cybersecurity risks linked to large language models and the need for regulatory and technical safeguards.
Sessions reviewed India’s semiconductor manufacturing efforts under Semiconductor Mission 2.0 and developments in electric vehicle battery systems to improve efficiency and safety. Aerospace panels discussed the use of digital twin technologies and AI-driven simulations in aircraft design, maintenance and system optimisation.
The conclave enabled direct interaction between students and industry representatives on technology trends, career pathways and industry expectations. Organisers said the event supports research and interdisciplinary collaboration in engineering education.
Participants included representatives from Western Digital, PwC, EY, Coforge, Fractal Analytics, QPI Volta, Space Energy Systems, AquaAirX, Fluidyn, MSC Software, Cadence Design Systems, Expleo Group and Centum Electronics.
