Two student startup teams from Jain University Faculty of Engineering & Technology won the silver and bronze awards at the Startup Innovation Weekend (SIW) 2026 held in Cambodia from April 24–26.
The event brought together over 20 startups and 30 projects from more than 25 countries. The teams presented their startup project under the mentorship of Dr Garima Sinha and Dr Yogesh Kumarn, receiving feedback from mentors, industry experts and investors.
Participants took part in pitch sessions, product demonstrations and networking forums aimed at refining business strategies and exploring partnerships. The programme provided startups with an international platform to present ideas, engage with global teams and connect with potential investors.
The teams, Sentinel and UniXange, secured the silver and bronze awards respectively. Their participation led to feedback on product development, pitch delivery and strategy, along with opportunities for future collaboration and discussions on scalability and investment.
