Knimbus and Skills Development Network Trust (SDN Trust) have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand access to employability and job-readiness programmes across Indian campuses.
The agreement was signed at Sharda University, Greater Noida, during its National Librarian’s Day programme.
Under the partnership, Wadhwani JobRise and Wadhwani JobConnect will be integrated into digital libraries powered by Knimbus, which serves more than 600 institutions and two million authenticated users.
Students at participating institutions will be able to access workplace skills training, interview preparation, career guidance and job opportunities through the digital library platforms they use for academic resources. The programmes will be introduced in phases in consultation with institutions.
Tarun Arora, Founder and CEO of Knimbus, said the partnership would enable students to access job-readiness and interview preparation programmes without using a separate platform or registration process.
Col Santosh Kumar, Vice-President – Skilling, SDN Trust, said the collaboration would help bring Wadhwani Foundation’s employability programmes to students through Knimbus’ network of institutions.
Dr S K Sahoo, University Librarian and Event Director at Sharda University, said the initiative would expand the role of campus libraries by connecting academic resources with skills and career readiness.
The signing programme was attended by librarians, faculty members, placement officers and academic leaders from institutions across Delhi-NCR.
