Lancers International School (LIS) is a co-educational day/boarding school with classes from nursery to class XII. The school was founded by a group of professionals with experience of about 32 years in the field of education.

The school’s campus is spread over an area of 6 acres in the centre of New Gurgaon, an up and coming city near the capital of India, New Delhi. It is fully equipped with science and computer laboratories, IT enabled classrooms, art, music, drama and sports facilities. The school offers programmes covering international curricula in an integrated learning environment.

Academics

Lancers International School offers programmes covering international curricula and is affiliated to the IBO, Geneva and the CIE. In the primary school, the curriculum is child centered and teaching strategies focus on students understanding and comprehending their learning. The school is a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme.

The middle school follows the Cambridge International Examinations syllabi with IGCSE at the end of grade X.

Students stepping into class XI begin the two year IBDP Programme. This is a rigorous course of study that fully prepares students for university and life. Students choose their course of study from an array of 17 subjects depending on their interest and requirements for higher studies.

Extracurricular:

Physical education is part of the school curriculum and all students are introduced to a variety of sports and games. Day boarding students get ample opportunities to participate in sports and other co-curricular activities. Social work and community service is also encouraged among the students.

The school also offers coaching in a variety of sports and games. Overnight trips to experience outdoor activities are arranged periodically. Students have opportunities to pursue short courses in music, dance, drama and art. Various events allow students to develop their organization and leadership skills.
