Light of Life Trust (LOLT), a non-profit organisation working to address intergenerational poverty through education, healthcare, livelihoods and environmental conservation, has opened its Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) issue on the BSE Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
The issue, valued at ₹1.27 crore, will support the education and holistic development of 420 children from underserved communities in Bihar and Jharkhand. The issue opened on 10 August and will close on 21 August 2026.
The ZCZP instruments have a face value of ₹1 each, with a minimum application of ₹1,000 and in multiples thereof. Contributions are eligible for 80G benefits and CSR compliance, subject to applicable regulations.
The initiative provides individuals, institutions and corporates with a regulated and transparent avenue to contribute towards education and social development.
“Education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Through our Social Stock Exchange initiative, we aim to create a transparent and structured pathway for individuals, institutions and organisations to contribute towards the education of children who may otherwise be denied the opportunity to complete their schooling,” said Villy Doctor, Founder, Light of Life Trust.
LOLT’s education initiatives include Division Anando, which supports students from rural communities through academic assistance, life skills education, mentoring, career guidance and holistic development. Its verticals include Anant, which supports children’s artistic development through music and performing arts, and the Anando School Empowerment Programme (ASEP), which works with schools and teachers to strengthen education quality.
The Trust’s Division Jagruti focuses on community development through initiatives covering livelihoods and skills, healthcare and environmental conservation.
