Medhavi Group has launched MedhaviOne, a platform aimed at connecting education with employment through shared standards for skills and credentials. Amit Haralalka, former Head of Growth at Tata Digital, has joined the venture as co-founder and CEO.

Haralalka will work alongside Medhavi Group co-founders Pravesh Dudani and Kuldip Sarma, as well as Group Chief Strategy Officer Devender Saini, to develop and scale the platform.

MedhaviOne seeks to address the gap between education, industry requirements and employer expectations by enabling institutions to align programmes with industry demand. Enterprises will be able to participate in designing and validating skills, while individuals can earn credentials intended to have recognition in the employment market.

According to the group, the platform’s framework is aligned with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Credit Framework.

“India’s demographic dividend will not be realised simply because we have one of the world’s largest young populations; it will be realised when young people can convert learning into upward mobility,” said Pravesh Dudani, founder of Medhavi Group and founder and chancellor of Medhavi Skills University.

Haralalka joins MedhaviOne after a tenure at Tata Digital and has worked across India, the US and China. An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, he has nearly two decades of experience in consumer technology and enterprise platforms.

“My focus now is taking that deep institutional knowledge to a national scale. I view MedhaviOne as a critical piece of national infrastructure,” Haralalka said.

Medhavi Group said the venture builds on its 14 years of work in skills development and employability, with a focus on making formal education more closely connected to industry requirements.
