The Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSEC) has extended the deadline for submitting online application forms for the scholarship examinations scheduled for 22 February 2026 to 8 December 2025.
The Council will conduct the Pre-Upper Primary Scholarship Examination (Class V) and the Pre-Secondary Scholarship Examination (Class VIII) across all districts of the state on the same day.
The original deadline for school registration and student applications was 30 November 2025, but this has now been extended to 8 December 2025.
Schools that have not yet completed the online forms must do so by 8 December with payment of the regular fee. Applications may also be submitted by 15 December with a late fee, 23 December with an extra late fee, and 31 December 2025 with an extra special late fee.
“After the year-end, the application form cannot be submitted online or offline under any circumstances,” said Anuradha Oak, Commissioner of the Examination Council.
