NTA releases provisional answer keys for UGC-NET re-exam in three subjects

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the UGC-NET June 2026 re-examination in English, Commerce and Sociology.

Candidates can challenge the provisional answer keys through the official portal from September 10 to 13, the agency said in a post on X.

The NTA announced the re-examination last month following complaints of errors in the question papers for the three subjects.

The English examination was held on September 9 from 9 am to noon, followed by the Commerce examination from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Sociology examination was conducted on September 10 from 9 am to noon.

The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was conducted from June 22 to 30 across 87 subjects for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, eligibility for appointment as assistant professor and admission to PhD programmes.
