QS I-GAUGE has launched a nationwide survey to assess how educators in schools and higher education institutions across India are engaging with artificial intelligence (AI) and preparing for its growing role in education.
The QS I-GAUGE AI Adoption Survey for Educators aims to gather insights into educators’ perceptions, usage patterns and readiness for AI adoption in their professional roles. The findings are expected to provide an overview of how educational institutions can integrate AI into teaching, learning, assessment, research and administrative functions.
According to QS I-GAUGE, the survey will help generate national-level data on the opportunities, challenges and support systems required for AI integration within academic institutions.
Ravin Nair, Managing Director of QS I-GAUGE, said understanding how educators perceive and adopt AI is important for shaping policies, training programmes and institutional strategies related to its use in education.
The survey is open to faculty members from schools and higher education institutions across the country. It is designed to be completed in around 10 minutes, and all responses will remain confidential and be used for research and analysis purposes.
Eligible participants include educators from schools across different educational boards and curricula, as well as faculty members from colleges, universities and other higher education institutions.
QS I-GAUGE said the survey findings will contribute to a better understanding of AI adoption trends and institutional preparedness within India’s education sector.
