upGrad and MICA have announced the launch of the 100th batch of their AI-powered digital marketing programme, which has trained more than 21,000 marketers and recorded over 5,600 career transitions in more than a decade.
According to upGrad, programme graduates have moved into roles at companies including Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Cognizant, Amazon, Google, Flipkart and Zomato, as well as advertising networks such as GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu and Ogilvy.
The programme has evolved alongside the digital marketing industry, incorporating developments in social media, the creator economy, direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing and artificial intelligence (AI). Its curriculum now includes specialisations in generative AI and brand communication.
The programme also features a ‘Build Your Own Brand’ capstone project, through which learners apply their knowledge to develop consumer brands.
“When we launched this programme with MICA, digital marketing was mostly a channel skill. Across 100 batches, it has reinvented itself with the industry, from the social and creator era to today’s D2C and AI-native marketing,” said Anuj Vishwakarma, CEO, Higher Education, upGrad.
Prof Anita Basalingappa, Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean – Executive Education at MICA, said the programme continues to focus on developing marketers’ strategic and creative capabilities.
The 100th batch is scheduled to begin on November 15, 2026. Enrolment is open.
