As the UGC NET June 2026 examination cycle begins, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised candidates to download their admit cards and carefully verify all details well before their exam date. The agency said timely verification can help avoid last-minute issues and ensure a smooth examination experience.
Candidates are urged to check important information, including the exam date, shift, reporting time, examination centre, personal details, and subject particulars. The NTA warned that overlooking these details could lead to confusion, travel difficulties, or delays on the examination day.
The agency also advised candidates, especially those in the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories, to visit their allotted examination centres in advance. This will help them assess accessibility facilities, entry and exit routes, and make necessary travel arrangements.
NTA reiterated that carrying a valid admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. Candidates have also been asked to regularly monitor official UGC NET and NTA websites for the latest updates and instructions regarding the June 2026 examination.
