KLAY, an early childhood education and care provider, has appointed Abhishek Joshi as its Chief Executive Officer as it looks to expand its presence across India.
Joshi will lead the company’s next phase of growth, with a focus on strengthening KLAY’s integrated offering across early learning, childcare and parent support, while widening access to early childhood education for families nationwide.
He succeeds into the role with more than two decades of experience in consumer businesses, having held leadership positions at Licious, Jubilant FoodWorks (Domino’s India), Hindustan Unilever and GCMMF (Amul). He is an alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and Govind Ballabh Pant University.
Announcing the appointment, Sandeep Reddy, Chairman of Founding Years Learning Solutions, said India was at a pivotal stage in recognising the importance of early childhood education and that Joshi’s experience in building and scaling trusted consumer brands would support KLAY’s long-term mission.
Commenting on his appointment, Joshi said he aimed to build on the trust KLAY has established with parents and expand the organisation’s reach so that more children across India could benefit from quality early childhood education and care.
The appointment comes as KLAY seeks to strengthen its position in India’s early childhood education sector and expand its services across the country.
