Vande Bharatam, an entrepreneurship initiative launched by Gautam Adani, has received applications from all 28 states and eight Union Territories, along with entries from the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Canada.
According to the organisers, Technology, AI & Deep Tech received the highest number of applications, followed by Agri, Food & Rural Economy, Retail, Commerce & Consumer, Health & Pharma, Education and Manufacturing & Industry 4.0.
The initiative has also drawn participation from women entrepreneurs, rural innovators and applicants working on sustainability-focused solutions.
Commenting on the response, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said the initiative aims to support innovators by providing opportunities, mentorship and access to networks that can help develop their ideas into scalable enterprises.
Applications for Vande Bharatam remain open until July 19, 2026, and are open to individuals with concepts, prototypes, early-stage ventures or established businesses.
Applications will be assessed on innovation, entrepreneurial potential, impact and scalability. Following state and regional evaluations, 75 finalists will be invited to Ahmedabad for a mentorship programme, interactions with industry leaders and investors, and incubation support.
The grand finale is scheduled to be held around India’s Independence Day, after which participants will continue to have access to mentors, investors and industry networks.
