With the second phase of the University of Delhi’s undergraduate admissions underway, several colleges have launched counselling and outreach programmes to help applicants prepare their Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) preference lists and address admission-related queries.
Miranda House is conducting a three-day Open House Session (Phase II) from July 6 to 8 for Class 12 girls and their parents. Held daily from 10 am to 1 pm, the sessions provide guidance on preparing CSAS preference lists, admissions under the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Sports quotas, certificate courses, hostel facilities and other aspects of the admission process.
The college has made prior online registration mandatory and will accommodate up to 500 students and their parents each day. Participants can also interact with faculty members during question-and-answer sessions.
Hansraj College has launched a two-day ‘Hansraj Campus Connect’ programme, offering an admission help desk, information on academic programmes and admission procedures, and guided campus tours for prospective students and their parents.
The initiatives come as candidates in the second phase of DU’s CSAS admission process are required to finalise their programme and college preferences before seat allocation begins.
The first seat allocation list will be released on July 16, while the new academic session is scheduled to commence on July 28.
