Manav Rachna University (MRU) has strengthened its science and engineering programmes through collaborations with government research institutions, offering students research internships, live projects and access to advanced laboratories as part of their degree programmes.
The university has partnered with the CSIR–National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL), the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) and the CSIR–Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani.
Under the collaborations, students in selected undergraduate and postgraduate programmes undertake mandatory six-month internships, gaining practical research experience alongside academic study.
Students enrolled in quantum computing programmes work with C-DAC and CSIR-NPL on areas including quantum computing, quantum sensing, advanced computing and precision metrology. Electronics and Communication Engineering students gain exposure to semiconductor technologies, VLSI design, embedded systems and the Internet of Things through CSIR-CEERI, while students of agrochemicals and pest management receive practical training through IPFT and industry exposure with Godrej Agrovet.
According to the university, the partnerships also support curriculum development, faculty training, collaborative research and expert-led learning to align programmes with scientific and technological developments.
