Simandhar Education Services Private Limited has partnered with Imperial School of Banking and Management, Pune, to integrate preparation for the US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification with the latter’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme.
The three-year, renewable memorandum of understanding (MoU) will provide interested students with access to US CPA training, learning resources, examination guidance and career support alongside their management studies.
Simandhar Education will offer classroom-based, hybrid or face-to-face training, depending on the student cohort. The first batch will follow a classroom-based format. Students will receive two years of access to Simandhar’s learning management system, test bank and Becker Professional Education’s learning resources.
The programme will also guide students through credential evaluation, eligibility requirements and examination applications. Those who complete all four sections of the US CPA examination will receive support with internship exposure, resume preparation, interview readiness and placement assistance. The partnership may also introduce supplementary learning in areas such as AI for Finance, subject to programme requirements.
Sripal Jain, co-founder of Simandhar Education, said integrating professional qualifications with management education would help students develop specialised technical knowledge and prepare for evolving finance roles.
Surya Prakash, chairman, and Dr Anuja Ashtewale, director, Imperial School of Banking and Management, said the initiative would allow students to build expertise in accounting, auditing and financial reporting alongside their management capabilities.
The partnership comes amid growing demand for finance and business operations professionals in Global Capability Centres (GCCs). According to Quess Corp’s India’s GCC Non-Tech Talent Landscape 2026 report, demand for non-technology roles in GCCs reached 339,200 in 2025, registering 49.2 per cent year-on-year growth. Finance, sales operations and business operations accounted for more than 60 per cent of this demand.
